Just pulled from a vendors old storage unit! An "Original Ford Chrome Penny Gumball Machine", This machine is from the late 1940's as documented in Bill Enes's book "Silent Salesmen Too" by the serial number #216260 , it is an all chrome machine that vends the 1/2 in size gumballs for a penny. Machine was taken apart, cleaned, checked for wear, adjusted and re-assembled. These machines in chrome are harder to find than the Stainless ones, machine is real nice and has a great shine, t is some light pitting around the globe ring if you look close in the picture with the coin slot and "Insert Penny " decal. Machine has it's Original "small" size glass globe that is in wonderful shape, no damage. This one has all metal parts inside like it should, no plastic. It has all 5 correct red rubber feet, the red suction style were always on the penny machines. Has the Original Corbin lock used by Ford, and a new key.
