This is a great old clock from Howard Miller Clock company of Zeeland Michigan. It has 2 original labels(1 on front and 1 on back) but front label is faded and back label is scratched. The number: 32285 is stamped on the back but I'm not sure if that is a serial number or model number. I believe it to be designed by George Nelson. It is in original untouched condition. It is electric and is the type of plug that sticks directly out of the clock into a socket mounted into the wall. I did not want to risk leaving it in the socket and possibly falling out and getting damaged but I did plug it in long enough to see the second hand move in a full circuit. It is made of a metal center with wooden "petals" . The clock is solid and actually in amazing condition for its age. T is a little edge wear to the yellow as pictured. Much of the dark mark that you see may be old crusty crud that would come off with a proper cleaning.This was stored in a box for a while and could use some work on the hands which are a little bent . The picture showing side view makes it seem as if the ribs are bent but this is only perspective. This is a very well made piece. It measures 11 1/2" across and 2 1/4" thick.
