For sale is a 100% original German World War 2 rifle sling for the standard Wehrmacht K98 Mauser rifle. The sling is in really nice condition with the leather on back side of buckle present. All the stitching is 100% wartime original, and the sling has not been altered since World War 2. The leather is nice and soft and the sling is ready to be put in a K98. The metal buckle is maker marked "B&C" and the leather receiver piece has a faint unreadable stamping into the leather on back side. The desireable cross-hatch pattern is deeply impressed into the leather. This sling is GUARANTEED to have been produced before 8th May 1945 and is NOT to be confused with post war Czeck or Israeli slings or cheap aftermarket reproductions flooding the market.
