Upfor your consideration a gouache, watercolor and ink on paper signed March Chagall. Signature in the lower right. Size 10.2 x 8.0 in. This work is executed exclusively to create ease dreamlike atmosphere of the French mountains - Alps. The central subject is the bucket of flowers a theme for which Chagall is most celebrated for , flowers are the signature elements of his painting and they present artists own dreamllike iconography, they apper again and again in his paintings and show artists mastery of creating the most desirable images of his day. We also see two flying figures in the left and also a Magritte inspired bird above them. Painting is in very good condition, paper shows minor signs of age. Registered with the National Fine Arts Title Registratry. Transfer of registration and ownership to the lucky new owner. Certificate of Authenticity will be posted together with this piece.
