For your bidding pleasure Today we are offering a great early Handel Lamp. This old lamp is in Original condition, except it has been rewired with a new cord. It works perfectly, but has no shade with it. It measures approx. 11 1/4" tall and 4" wide. The age and Patina on this lamp is fabulous. It is signed underneath with a stamped , embossed Handel mark. Has the old acorn pull with Leviton socket. Only real damage is a 5 1/2" hairline crack that is on the glass vase portion, which runs up and down. In no way does it detract from the beauty of this period lamp. The colors are outstanding and the reverse painted effect on this glass vase is gorgeous. Copper, white, tan, gold, and reddish brown with an incredible crackled finish. It is true Art work at it's finest. The old metal base has 4 feet and has wonderful early patina. A real nice example of a lamp from days gone by. If you collect Handel or have an early shade, then this lamp is for you. Even though it is a smaller Handel lamp, it is still quite valuable.
