You are bidding on anunframed original Jessica Rabbit rough concept drawingdone in dark blue colored pencil on white 16 field animation bond (12.5" x 17"). This illustration was done as pre-production art for products sold or licensed by the Walt Disney Company (The Disney Store, Disney Catalog, Disney Parks Merchandising and/ or Disney Auctions). the drawing is signed by the artist, Jennifer G. Oliver (myself). It may show light smudges, wrinkles and/ or creases consistent with production artwork. This sketch would make a wonderful gift for your favorite Roger Rabbit, pinup or Disney collector!
About the artist: I've been working with the Walt Disney Company for over 17 years. I started with the Feature Animation Department during the production of The Little Mermaid and worked as a Character Key, usually on leading characters like Belle and Aladdin. I left animation during the production of The Lion King to begin my career as a freelance artist. Since then I have been doing design and final line art for various character art departments at Disney and with other companies and studios, occasionally entering back into animation as my time permits. I've been privileged to have worked directly with such animation greats as Glen Keane, Mark Henn, Alex Kuperschmidt and Michael Surrey. My drawings were also featured in a retrospective of Disney animation art and the Museum of Modern Art in NYC in the early 1990's. T are two photos below; one is a photo of the drawing as it appears on my animation disc to show condition, the other is a scan to show detail. Neither should be considered "color correct". I will be listing a fair number of drawings over the next few weeks in hopes of making a dent in some large medical bills. All the drawings will be Original and signed. **** PLEASE NOTE: I can only accept Paypal, cashier's checks or money order payments at this time. My apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
