This no reserve auction is for an original Lionel No. 069 Electric Warning Signal. Lionel produced the 069 from 1921 - 1935. Again, this listing is for the empty box only. This glossy maroon painted signal is in very nice condition. It is completely original with no restoration of any kind. It features a brass finial, brass diamond-shaped sign and pair of round nickel bells. There is no marking on the underside of the square base. There is some paint loss on the base primarily around the screwholes. The post tilts slightly forward. Please view the pictures for additional descriptive detail . I am in the process of thinning out a lifetime train collection that started in the early 1970’s. It includes many rare and unusual items most of which are very high quality in original packaging. Some examples are a boxed 460P Piggyback Platform, boxed 3356-150 Horse Corral Platform, dealer and factory sealed items, as well as many pre and post war boxed sets. Most of my collection is Lionel with some Ives, American Flyer and other manufacturers represented. I do not have a collection list to share at this time. When practical, multiple items may be sent together to save on shipping costs. All items are carefully packed and typically shipped via USPS priority mail, first class or parcel post within 3 business days after payment clears. I reserve the right to select the shipping method at my discretion. Shipping is not a profit center for me so if I overestimate the cost I will gladly refund the difference between the amount noted in the listing is $1.00 or more above actual postage cost. Payment via Paypal is expected within 3 days unless other arrangements have been made in advance. eBay rules require you to inquire about alternative payment methods.
