This no reserve auction is for an original Lionel 1921 Owner's Manual. This 12-page manual has been folded a few times and shows some wear but is complete and a great reference resource. There is a horizontal tear across the center fold line on the front. The back page notes the new No. 069 Electric Warning Signal which Lionel first produced in 1921. The bottom of the front page makes reference to the Factory and Service Department occupying 603 South 21st Street which Lionel only leased for a 10 month period from March 1920 through January, 1921.

If you are trying to complete a set from 1921 then you will want to pick up this nice peripheral item for your collection.

Buyer pays $2.78 for S&H. This will be shipped in a specially purchased cardboard envelope designed to protect photos. The $1.05 cost of the envelope is factored into the S&H quote.

If you would be interested in selling or consigning all or pieces of your collection please feel free to contact me to discuss.

I have been a member of the TCA for almost 25 years so you can . I am in the process of thinning out a lifetime train collection that started in the early 1970’s. It includes many rare and unusual items most of which are very high quality in original packaging. Some examples are a boxed 460P Piggyback Platform, boxed 3356-150 Horse Corral Platform, dealer and factory sealed items, as well as many pre and post war boxed sets. Most of my collection is Lionel with some Ives, American Flyer and other manufacturers represented. I do not have a collection list to share at this time.

When practical, multiple items may be sent together to save on shipping costs. All items are carefully packed and typically shipped via USPS priority mail, first class or parcel post within 3 business days after payment clears. I reserve the right to select the shipping method at my discretion. Shipping is not a profit center for me so if I overestimate the cost I will gladly refund the difference between the amount noted in the listing is $1.00 or more above actual postage cost. Payment via Paypal is expected within 3 days unless other arrangements have been made in advance. eBay rules require you to inquire about alternative payment methods. TCA member are given special consideration.

I am willing to work with buyers on any reasonable request. My objective is for both of us to have a positive experience. Questions during the auction are encouraged as returns will be accepted only if the item is not as described. Your inquiries are very important to me and I will make best efforts to be prompt and thorough with my responses. However, because train collecting and eBay are not my primary business my ability to continuously monitor and quickly respond to eBay related communications may be limited. Kindly allow for a reasonable response time to your questions. Alternatively, please feel free to call me at – ask for Pete.

I appreciate your interest in my listings. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding!
