This is an original Lionel 1927 Catalog. It is not a reproduction. It has 46 pages including the back and front covers. The catalog showcases Lionel's O Gauge and Standard Gauge production for the year 1927. It includes sets, engines, passenger cars, freight cars, and accessories for both O and Standard Gauges. The condition is Good, the main detraction being the cellotaped outer spine on the front and back covers. As well, the front and back covers are detached from the body of the catalog. This can be seen clearly in the pictures. The catalog is complete, however, and the inner pages remain firmly attached to each other. The interior pages retain their original color and show no serious signs of damage. The outer covers are a bit faded and roughed up at the edges. The main feature of this catalog is a three page fold-out depicting Outfit 409E which consisted of the 408E locomotive and the 418, 419, 490, and 431 passenger cars. The opposite side of the foldout shows Outfits Nos. 403E and 406E. All in all a very collectible catalog in decent shape for an 82 year old catalog. My pictures are a bit blurry because I used a non-flash low light setting to avoid the glare of a flash or bright light source. The printing and illustrations are, however, quite clear and crisp.
