( Original Lionel Postwar Freight Set ) Todays auction is for this all original Lionel train set from the late 1940s early 1950s. The train set is in good to very good original working condition, minor scratches, paint loss, and surface rust. The set consist of a #2026 engine and tender along with 7 other cars including a work caboose. I did apply power to the engine and whistle tender and they are working now. There are 3 oil tank cars, 1 hopper or gondola, 1 boxcar and the 2 cabooses that go with the engine & tender. I will not guarantee how well this will run, that's why I'm recommending servicing it before you run it on a layout.
