Presenting an Original Mission Era Lawyers Office Swivel Desk Chair. This excellent antique desk chair is done in Solid Walnut, with a deep Mission finish. Featuring the compound curved, Mission Slatted back & a nice, thick dished plank seat. This is an original early 1900s chair- new reproductions come now close in terms of quality, design & workmanship (and they sell for $300-$400 in Pottery Barn & Restoration hardware!). Beautiful Mission Era design. Serpentine curved armrests at just the right level, Flow smoothly into the curved back. Yes, it has "Rocking Motion" via the heavy spring mechaanism on bottom. Adjustable turning wheel & thick steel swivel Height Adjustment rod. Finish has minor scratches & wear, will polish up nicely. Rests on Thick, substantial swivel base with its original Rubber wheel casters. Measures 25 inches wide, 22 inches deep & 34 inches high (17 inch seat height). Arm height is 27 inches (at 17 inch seat height). Seat measures 18 inches deep, 19.5 inches wide. Base "footprint" is 21 inches by 21 inches. Base is removable for shipping .
