AN ORIGINAL 3 1/4 X 5 1/4" NEGATIVE, TAKEN AT HARRIS HILL, ELMIRA, NY, JULY 6, 1940YOU ARE BUYING ONLY THE NEGATIVE.FROM THE COLLECTION OF THE CLARK GLIDER SCHOOL, HARTFORD, CONNECTICUT ========== Elery D. Clark Mr. Clark joined Chance Vought in 1930 and transferred to Pratt and Whitney Aircraft in 1939. In 1945 he took a position with United Aircraft Research Laboratory and worked there until his retirement in 1976. During World War II, Mr. Clark served with the United States Coast Guard. His deep interest in aviation resulted in him building his own glider and establishing a glider school at Brainard Field.
