Up for auction: This is a really great find. It is three ORIGINAL and NEVER PRINTED or REPRODUCED elsewhere of Marilyn Monroe during her USO trip to Korea in 1954. There are three candid shots along with a bonus pic of a photo of her placed on a fire hydrant on base. These photos came from a large photo scrapbook with hundreds of military photos from the 1940s/50s/60s. I think the other photos in that book (see it up for auction in another of my current auctions now) were from Japan but, seeing as how I can find no listing of MM visiting occupied Japan, I am guessing the soldier went to see the star when she visited. These are fantastic candid shots and would be a boon for any Marilyn Monroe collector. Each of the three shots of her are 5"x3.5" and someone wrote her name on the back of each (as if anyone would not recognize her). Please let me know if you have any questions. I will start the bidding low and let the market decide. In the coming weeks/months, I will be trying to sell a MASSIVE amount of everything: OLD and rare books, toys, rare decorative items, albums, magazines, collectibles, art, strange items from every walk of life and a few comics (doubles for me...don't normally sell my comics but have a few duplicates.......let me know if you have old comics to trade perhaps).
