Paypal User Welcome Thanks for looking at my item This is an obsolete badge which is allow on e-bay as The Hong Kong Prison Services (Correctional Services) was under British before 1997. Disband long time ago and there is NO MORE "Royal Hong Kong Prison Service" in the World... It bears no resemblence to any currently issued badge and conveys no authority or powers. What you see is an obsolete Genuine British Visor Cap Badge of the Prison Services (Correctional Service) Issued to the Colonial Hong Kong before 1997... EIIR Crown on top to show we was under the British Rules... See photo... This is a gold coloured cap badge... Slider fitting to the rear which is marked "Firmin London"... Firmin & Sons is the Official Government Supplier Base in English to supply the uniform badge to most British Forces... Police... Fire Depts in UK and Worldwide... This is Hard to Find and RARE badges was used during the Hong Kong "Colonial" period... The title "H.M. Prison Services" was changed to "Correctional Services" in the 1970's so this badge pre dates's this period. Bidders will be aware that the Colony was returned to Chinese Sovereignty in 1997 and n o more Queen Crown badge used in Hong Kong Now ...
