Up for auction is this gorgeous oil on board by the well listed American Artist HARRY ROSELAND 1868-1950. the painting is in excellent condition for its age with a newer frame measuring image 10 1/4 x 15 1/2 " .Now comes the sad story? some previous owner cut about 2" of the artist board probably to fit the older frame and of cause lost the signature in the process therefor it is listed as not signed. THIS GORGEOUS PAINTING IS GUARANTIED 100% money back by the Artist, I have included a Harry Roseland picture #7 from Askart which has the same people in it and it is called writing lesson and sold for $ 2400.00 10/24/2012.This is stil a wonderful painting for any collection and I adjusted the price accordingly.
