This is an original painting by Frederick John Widgery of the valley of Batworthy Moor, Exmoor. The picture is painted in gouache, unframed, and in very good condition, please check the photos. It is signed by the artist, on the left hand corner, please check out all photos, the size is 27 cm (10.5 inchs) height 37.5 cm(14.5 inchs) width The painting dates late 19th/early 20th century, this painting has been valued by specialist, and the starting price is under the value given. Will post first class. Fredick John Widgery is well known both for his views on Exmoor and Dartmoor, and his views of the South Devon Coast. He was the son of William Widgery, who also painted Devon scenes.
