HomesAround the World huis toe An original pain ting by the Helping Hands Hero Team, led by Mrs. Rogers at Eastern Elementary in Traverse City, Michigan. 24 x 36 Canvas, Acrylic Painting As part of our “Heroes In Our Community” program, our Helping Hands team has been learning about homelessness in Traverse City and around the world. For their service project, the team learned about different types of homes/houses, the materials used to build them, and where these different types of homes can be found. The team has used this knowledge to create their own special collage paintings called "Homes Around the World". There are 5 different “Homes” paintings. Each are listed on eBay and are also on display in the lobby at Eastern Elementary. 100% of proceeds from the sale of these paintings will go to support the Goodwill Inn in Traverse City, Michigan, on behalf of the Helping Hands 4th grade team. Each of the 5 “Homes Around The World” paintings bears the sub-title of word “home” or “house” in another language. The auction you are viewing is titled “ huis toe ” (Afrikaans for "home").
