VERY RARE ORIGINAL PIECE OF XVII CENTURY, BOMBARDETTA MILITARY CANYON PREDECESSOR the bonbardeta is a historic piece of light artillery, was used by Spanish conquerors, their construction is in bronze. The artillery in the fourteenth century and almost all of the fifteenth century was almost total in construction of wrought iron, but with the coming of the reign of Kings and Catholics late fifteenth century, a great technological advancement in the material is to be used in guns, wrought iron is replaced by bronze. therefore in the fifteenth century artillery pieces of smaller size were fabricated as were the ribadoquín, blowgun and falconete mid-bombardeta this century was the smaller caliber and light was manufactured. This gave way during the sixteenth century is documented for the first time called HAND cannon, which is nothing more than the evolution of culebrina guns and notebooks fifteenth century, used to have a handle to hold it with one hand and with the another light the fuse and often on horseback (it was not an easy task) and of course as you imagine there was a lot of accuracy, but if was a breakthrough in those seasons and resulted in light artillery, to its beginnings . bombardeta measurement: 3.5 inches x 2.4 inches.
