Up for bid is an original Gatling gun empty ammunition box. This box would have held the Gatling gun clips. I believe it dates to the Indian Wars era. The box is pretty solid, but does show some wear including missing paint and some age cracks to the wood (nothing major). The handles are intact and complete and a good portion of the original green paint is intact. The word Gatling is period stenciled on the side of the box. I have black lighted the box and nothing glows. I certainbly believe this to be an authentic original Gatling gun ammo box. The box measures 11.5 X 9.5 inches. Winner to please add $18.00 shipping.
