VINTAGE DISNEY ORIGINAL STUDIO ANIMATION DRAWING OF MICKEY MOUSE FROM 1935 "MICKEY'S GARDEN" CARTOON - FRAMED ART This ia an original pencil animation drawing from the 1935 Disney cartoon, "Mickey's Garden". The image itself is approximately 4 inches wide by 3 inches high, not including the number "151". The outside dimensions of the frame are approximately 15 inches wide by 13.5 inches high, with the corresponding inside dimensions of the mat 9 inches by 6 1/4 inches. The frame is a black lacquer type material, with 5 different-colored mats framing the image. The image is mostly black pencil, with some blue, red and green, which match the mats. The paper that has the drawing is a cream color, which matches the top mat. There is a nameplate on the lower edge of the mat that states "Mickey Mouse (1935) "Mickey's Garden". The drawing is wonderful, and appears to be in excellent condition. There are some very small creases that are no doubt from handling. They are only noticeable upon close examination. This is a production drawing, after all! The frame itself has several scratches; I have included pictures of two of the worst areas. They could probably be touched up and not be that noticeable. The last picture that I included is a still from the cartoon itself to show where this drawing was used. It is not included in this auction. This picture was purchased in the early 1990's from the former animation art gallery, "Stay Tooned" in Barrington, IL. The picture has a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) taped to the back.
