For your consideration A Rare Original 1953 Queen Elizabeth II Coronation Autograph Book. The covers are made of tin and appears to be a special gift to company employees of the Metal Box Company of London, England in 1953. This item is in great condition, but does have some scratches and wear. See the photos. The album even comes with the original printed note that reads: "This album has been presented to you to commemorate the Coronation of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, on June 2, 1953. It is the gift of the Company of which your parent is a member. Please look after it carefully, and treasure it during your lifetime as a souvenir of a great occasion." On the inside of the front cover it reads, "The CORONATION of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, June 2, 1953." "The covers of this album are made of tinplate from the Works of Richard Thomas & Baldwins Limited and the Steel Company of Wales Limited." "Designed and produced by the Metal Box Company LTD., London, W. I." The autograph pages are like new and have NOT been written on. The book is approx. 5 inches wide by 7 inches across.
