"Sandy Horse Original" Coin Box All Original Very Rare Guaranteed to be an Original Excellent Condition for its age. This was the original Coin Box that was mounted on a Sandy Horse Coin Operated Ride I got this coin box from an amusement company that had been in business for many, many years. They no longer have any kiddie rides on location. I found this item in the loft of their shop w it had been for longer than anyone could remember. I've owned dozens of Coin Operated Sandy horses in the past, but never one that had a coin box like this. If anyone knows anything about it's history, please share your information. Not only is the coin box old, it still has the old original coin mechanism in it. In the pictures, you can see the original 10 cent metal plate on top of the box, near the coin entry. The box has some small areas of very light surface rust. I didn't try to clean it but I feel a little elbow grease will do wonders for it's appearance. This is a must for the collector. I don't know how to test this item. Look at the pictures closely. Being sold as is. T is a reasonable reserve on this item. I'm guessing it will weigh between 15 - 20 pounds when packed. That's just a guess. Actual shipping weight and cost won't be known until its packed, which will be after the auction ends.
