This is a rare, authentic and vintage original signed LEO VILLAFANA framed oil on canvas abstract painting. It is in it's original aged vintage frame. The theme is a bridge at a harbor with the city as the backdrop. The pictures of this piece were taken indoors with normal, natural lighting. The first picture was taken indoors with flash and picture two was taken in natural indoor average lighting. The colors are beautiful. The approximate measurements are: 20 in. across by 16 in. tall (canvas alone). The frame's outside measurement is approximately 25 5/8 in. wide by 21 1/2 in. tall. This painting has been improperly stored in the past, which has unfortunately blemished the frame and have left minor, barely noticeable marks on the canvas. Considering its age, it has kept up and I still get compliments on it. It's time for me to let it go and give it a new home (or office) to enjoy. About the Artist: Leo Villafana was born in Puerto Rico and grew up in New York. In the late 1950's and early 60's, he gained a reputation as an impressionistic painter of street scenes, several of which were sold to Hollywood figures as Edward G. Robinson. He passed away in April 1991 at the age of 64 .
