The box pics show the original container the slide came fromThis is a slide of the Southern Pacific GE5103 train. I was surprised to find pictures of what it looks like today.According to good sources, including Strapac's fantastic SP Compendium series, SP 5103 was built in May 1949 by General Electric as a model 70 Ton, builders number 30166, SP 5103, SP Class DERS-200. In 1950 it was rereclassed to SP Class DF-200. In 1963 it was rereclassed to SP Class DS-500. In 1965 it was rereclassed to SP Class GS407-1.The disposition of this locomotive is, retired July 1975.
