Original Soviet Russian Order of Lenin, Type 4 Variation 1 (with dimple). In solid 23K gold, platinum and enamels, mint marked and serial numbered "52032". Weighs 33.3 grams (w/o suspension). 5-sided suspension parade ribbon. Platinum head of Lenin has some fine scratches. Connecting link is solid. Reverse is hallmarked "Monetny Dvor". Serial number "52032". Excellent condition overall. The Order of Lenin is the highest national decoration of the Soviet Union. Established 6 April 1930. Awarded to civilians for outstanding services rendered to the State, to members of the armed forces for exemplary service, and to recipients of the titles of Hero of the Soviet Union and Hero of Socialist Labor.
