VINTAGE PATRIOTIC EPHEMERA FOR THE CIGAR BOX LABEL COLLECTOR! Beautiful vintage embossed lithograph cigar label has an iconic and patriotic portrait of an unidentified man smoking a cigar (president?), while wearing a tophat with stars and a stars and stripes vest and shirt. The bust portrait is flanked by embosed words: United and States . Front of label has the following text: The Moehle Litho. Co. Brooklyn, N.Y. Label measures 252x152mm. CONDITION: Label is in great condition with unfaded, bright and vivid colors. Label has minor edge and surface wear with a small "pin prick", but the image in not affected. Back of label is clean. Any marks appear to be from age and do not take away from the items overall aesthetics. Early cigar box label subject matter is a great symbol of American patriotism! This item would make a great addition to any cigar box label, Americana, or political collection.
