This comes with a money back guarantee of originality. This is a rare tropical coastal artillery cap. This cap started out originally as a luftwaffe nco coap. It was then transformed into a personalized coastal artillery cap. The cap has no rips or tears. The bill is soft and pliable. It has an original leather chinstrap and the buttons are all correct and period for this style HM cap. The cockade is a brilliant gold in color. The hat is complete!!!!! The neck piece is correctly placed and stitched with no rips or tears. The interior is red and dated 1942 with the maker Karl Kmittel, Garberel, and it looks like Mann something and the last word is Wurtt. T is a circular patch sewn into the top of the hat with the correct celluloid piece placed in between the layers. The interior of the cap in the front has a piece inserted to keep the front of the cap in an upright position. The air grommets are correctly crimped and show some beautiful patina. The eagle is gold in color and has a three inch long pin that travels down the interior of the cap in the front. This eagle was made specifically for this cap. This is a winner and a rare piece. Ask any question!!! I have seen these caps on dealers sites in excess of 3000!!!! This comes with a modest reserve to cover my investment!!!!
