An original two-sided glass Gulf gasoline pump globe from the 1940s and 1950s. This used to sit on top of the old gas pumps. Once these marked almost every block in even the smallest of towns. The two glass lenses, held in place with two screws and nuts, are in great condition with only some fading near the edges. The glass globe which holds the panels is in great condition except some chips at the bottom inside the rubber ring and prevent the piece from sitting level, as seen in the photos. It measures 14" across and 14" high, lens diameter is 12 1/2" wit the globe width at 5 1/2" at the edge, the steel ring diameter of 6 1/2" and a weight of almost 12 pounds. This great old piece is looking for a new home. If it doesn't meet your expectations, return for a full refund, less shipping.
