This original U.S M1895 Winchester Lee Rifle Bayonet was modified to a fighting knife during WWII by removal of the muzzle ring.The crossguard is marked WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS.All metal is polished in the white.The 8 3/16 inch blade is in good condition.The wood grips are solid with a few grooves and marks from use.The crossguard and pommel have slight pitting.The bayonet catch and press stud is in good working order.`This fighting knife makes a great display item and addition to a collection.Please see all the photos for condition and bid accordingly.
