Original un-issued M1910 canteen cover - RIA 1917!!

This auction is for an original WWI M1910 canteen cover in excellent un-issued condition. The canteen cover has a perfect, un-faded light kaki color with no corrosion to the lift dots or belt hook. The felt insulation is fully intact and t are no holes or fraying anyw on the cover. It is very boldly U.S. stamped on the front and clearly maker marked and dated "R.I.A 1917" on the inside of the right flap. The inside of the left flap still clearly shows the original production inspection stamps. It is in absolutely amazing condition for a 90 year old item and is a true museum quality piece. T is a very faint marking on the left side that seems to be "CD .25". It looks like it was done in pencil as a price marking at one time. I will leave it up to the buyer weather or not to remove it. This canteen set is guaranteed to be 100% original WWI production, NOT A REPRODUCTION, and would be a great upgrade for any WWI field gear collection or for reenacting. Buyer pays actual shipping costs only. No phony handling charges ! I prefer using USPS Priority Mail because it provides a great box to ship in, but I will ship anyway the buyer prefers.
