End Coin#2 - Toned Morgan Dollar 1881 (P, S, O, CC?) ***THIS IS ONE BEAUTIFUL LOOKING ROLL!*** Description Nearly a year ago, I had the great opportunity of attending a retired bankers estate sale. The sale had many different bank related items, but of course what got my attention (and my money) were the coins & currency. You would not believe the amount of stuff one person can accumulate over a lifetime! I purchased quite a lot of jewelry, coins, coin rolls, and currency with plans of adding onto my personal collection in a major way, but cannot justify keeping all of the items purchased. What can you expect if you decide to open your Silver Dollar Roll? Morgan Silver Dollars! Not one of these rolls has had a coin dated after 1904! You could find any of the following: Philadelphia, San Francisco, New Orleans or Carson City minted UNC Morgan Silver Dollars. Possible Keys or Older Dollars? These rolls are from a bankers personal collection locally, who did a lot of business with the FRB of Chicago. Personally, I feel that coin rolls are worth more unopened as the potential is what's worth the $$$ - not to mention the history! But, some of us prefer to find out for ourselves what could be lurking in that old roll - and it could be worth read more
