Original Circa 1900 Rare Victorian Edwardian Wood Travel Chess Game Set ! Rare it that all chess pieces are beautifully carved wood and none are missing ! The chess game has some minor repairs and damages as can be seen in the images. The approximate dimensions of the box when closed is 20.6 x 9.9 x 5.6 cm (8 1.5/16 x 3 14.5/16 x 2 3/16 inches), and the game opens to reach an extension of approximately 39.8 cm (15 2/16 inches). One of the ebony black rooks has one his four top edges chipped off, and the chess box has many signs of age from scratches, bumps and small cracks with some repairs done which can be seen by some attached screws in the edges.
