ORIGINAL VINTAGE 1930'S TAGGED IDEAL SHIRLEY TEMPLE DRESS, SHOES, SOCKS FOR 18

Up for bid is a vintage Ideal tagged Shirley Temple dress from the 1930's. Also included are a pair of shoes and socks from the period, although I do not know if they are original to Shirley or not. They all will fit an 18" composition Shirley Temple doll. The dress is tagged with a white label tagged, "SHIRLEY TEMPLE/DOLL DRESS/REG.U.S.PAT.OFF./IDEALNOV. & TOY CO. CODE" with a blue eagle and "NRA" and "MADE IN U.S.A." This label is attached to an outer button. Inside there is a tiny tag with "18" on it (for the size of the doll). The socks are rayon and the shoes are pink with buckles and show lots of wear. (Please see pictures.) The dress overall is in pretty good condition. I do not find any tears or holes. There is a few areas of tiny brown stains (I tried to get a picture of a few), but other than that, I think it's held up well for its age. The ribbons are starting to fray on the ends. There is a few tiny pin-holes on the front of the dress that I assume held her pin. Other than that there may be some fading from age and a bow that may need to be re-tied. This will be great to dress up your Shirley doll!
