Liberia 1975 Specialized Catalogue, by Lothar von Saleski. The world's most complete and descriptive catalog of Liberia Stamps, listing all of the varieties that Scott and others ignore such as inverts, specimens, TCP-s, proofs, missing centers, transposed centers, missing colors, and much more. Scott's 2013 catalog contains 36 pages of Liberia listings compared to von Saleski's 400+ pages, plus an appendix on forgeries, with prices in US$ that are way out of date, but still serve as a valuable price reference on a comparative basis. 525 pages, fully illustrated in B&W, ORIGINAL pages and 3- ring binder from 1975, which was the only year this highly specialized catalog was printed. SIGNED by Mrs. von Saleski (I believe the author died before final publication) and numbered 33 of a first (and only) edition of 500. A must have for serious Liberia collectors. Lists stamps with von Saleski, Scott, Minkus, Gibbons, Michel, and Yvert systems, an invaluable tool! Some wear: 3" split at corner of binder, some page holes have been reinforced, some edge wear on a few pages, toning on page edges, some annotations in ink by a prior owner.
