Tinted Windows" This is an original painting by Scott Rockwell. It is approximately 5 1/2" x 8" , and was created with colored pencils and watercolor paints (including dyes, markers, and inks, in addition to the more traditional watercolors), on Arches watercolor paper. The painting is unframed, and it is signed by the artist. Scott wanted to do something a little different from his usual Tuesday night routine, and man, am I glad he did!! I don't know what it is about this painting -- I just immediately fell in love with it. I'm guessing it's the asymmetry, which I love... but there's something else about it, too. Something I just can't put my finger on. Something that's probably subjective and subconscious... isn't that always the case with art? Whatever it is, I'm absolutely in love with this painting!! About the Artist: Scott Rockwell is a 56-year old artist, the father of two insane cats, and my best friend. He studied art and art history at West Liberty University, where he graduated with honors in 1981. Since then, he’s had a variety of jobs in the commercial art and advertising fields, including a position as Art Director for the local NBC affiliate, where his portraits of the news anchors still grace the walls.
