Original WW1 Poster 19X26 inches published in Great Britain by JOHNSON, RIDDLE & CO., [circa late 1916] Title of poster: German Colonial Possessions surrendered to the Allies Since August, 1914 An incredible piece of history. This poster documents the Allied progress in many theaters of war. West Africa, South West Africa, East Africa, The Pacific, and China. Poster documents victories during the time 1914-1916. Names the specific force involved in the action; and the specific place; and the specific date. 14 different Allied victories are detailed and cited on this poster.What a poster. Rare. Graded VG. DEFECTS: 1-T are a few very very VERY small holes upper left section,along a one of the folds, to the left of the word "SINCE" in the title. The holes have very very slight staining around them. 2-On the BACK SIDE t is soiling/staining to one small area. This is what has caused the very very small holes to appear along the fold to the left of the word "SINCE" on the front of the poster as discussed in defect #1. 3-Small half inch tear on left
