I am listing some items that I cannot really display, and I am beginning to list these pieces at a fairly reasonable buy it now price since I have had them for a quite a time and I really do not remember what I paid for them. I am hoping someone will appreciate and display it more than being stored or in a closet or a case. I will be listing uniforms and other U.S. WW2 army AAF and Navy items. In addition, I will also be listing in the future RAF RCAF and other Army Air Force items. Please take a look at my other auctions as some of these items are quite uncommon and would benefit a collection greatly. Thank you so much for looking and please bid with confidence as I take all of my transactions seriously and will go out of my way to assure customer satisfaction Up for Auction is a very nice and large pair of completely original WW2 British Army Motor Cyclists Pantaloons in a very desirable size 14. The tag is present and I took a detailed photo of it. The tag states that the pantaloons will fit HEIGHT 5'9" to 6'0", WAIST 35"to 36" , BREECH 41"-42" INSEAM 28" The tag also states that they were made by the DURIGO MANUFACTURING CO. and they are dated Sep. 1941 with the broad arrow /| next to it. The buttons on the pants are all brass with the exception for the legs which appear bakelite. The pantaloons can actually be let out another inch based on the material inside. The pants have no visible blemishes and no moth nips that I can find. I do not believe these are the same trousers as the British Army Dispatch Riders Breeches, as breeches and pantaloons are a bit different in the way they fit and were constructed. Either way, if you have a British Army Cycle, such as a BSA, Triumph, Enfield, etc these would be a perfect companion piece. I purchased these for a display that I am no longer pursuing. So I am letting them go for a very reasonable price. Overall this is a great British Army piece that would be perfect for any Dispatch rider / Cyclist living historian or bike enthusiast. Please take a look. Remember, since I never place a reserve, the buy it now option disappears when a bid is placed. ThanksPlease feel free to ask any questions I would be happy to answer them. Please also look at my other reasonably priced auctions I will be listing more this week. I will be listing some rather rare pieces that may be of interest to collectors of U.S. Army, Army Air Corps, Royal Air Force and RCAF collectors. Please take a look at the U.S. Army Unit Histories I have listed as well as the RAF Air Gunners tunic listed in a separate auction. Please check my feedback. I take customer satisfaction seriously and go the extra mile to make my customers happy with the item
