Original WW2 German Luftwaffe soldiers cigarette case with photo of German soldier. The outside shows signs of ageing (Rust spots on the outside hinges) other wise excellent condition. The reason for the excellent condition was told to me by the person in Germany I got it from. He said: Die Zigarettenetuis sind alle alt um 1940-45.Sie stammen aus einer alten Lagerauflösung eines Fotogeschäfts ( Firma Schroth Bilderwerke aus Wiesbaden)Diese wurden damals in Auftrag gegeben, und nicht abgeholt oder hatten kleine Fehler und die Leute wollten den Artikel dann nicht (Deshalb sind die Zigarettenetuis noch sehr gut erhalten) .Der Artikel blieb dann in der Firma und wurde eingelagert .Alle Fotos sind auch Orginale aus der Zeit um 1940-45.Das große Foto wurde immer in der Firma abgegeben,danach wurde das Kleine Foto im Zigarettenetui angefertigt. Also alles 100% Orginal aus der Zeit. Translation: it is from a photographic company, Firma Schroth Bilderwerke aus Wiesbaden.They were made in the war years and for what ever reason some were not collected by the customers and accumulated in the stock room until recently where the company then got rid of them. 100% original.
