Original WW2 German Luftwaffe Military photo album entitled luftnachrichtenstelle des fliegerhorstes lütow (air news agency of the airbase Lütow ). Blue album with embossed LUFTWAFFE silver emblem intact, (some pen colouring) and the album is tied with original coloured string. Measuring 10.5" inches by 7.5 this little gem has 21 tissue covered pages. The first five pages has portrait autograph pictures of Adolf Hitler, Field Marshal Werner von Blomberg, the Commander-in-Chief of the German Armed Forces, General Werner von Fritsch, Commander-in-Chief of the Army, Grand Admiral Erich Johann Albert Raeder, and finally Herman Goring. The album continues with a colour portrait of Werner Mölders (18 March 1913 – 22 November 1941) who was a World War II German Luftwaffe pilot, obviously admired much by the album owner. There are over fifty more personal photos some including squad photos, drills, respite time, kitchen service, aeroplanes of the Luftwaffe, Winter 1942, bombed sites, aerial shots, military hospital photos, burial of a flight crew, Christmas, Radio service, place names & dates etc.As well as this photographic time of a serving soldier of the Luftwaffe, the album has a poignant touch.
