This auction is for an authentic ORIGINAL WW2 GERMAN RADIO FIELD PHONE BAKELITE CASE. It is dated 1939 and per the former owner it is in working condition, however, we have not tested it, nor do we have the knowledge of how to test it. It is being sold as a COLLECTORS ITEM ONLY. It appears to be complete and intact, and in good condition. The cloth covered cord that connects the hand set is also in good condition. The case and the handset and most of the fittings are of old bakelite. On the top is some of the code symbols that were being used by the individual operator. I am listing this for another party, and am not personally knowledgeable in this area so if you feel that I have mis - identified an item, please feel free to let me know; I've tried to do the best I can with proper identification but this is not my field of expertise so please take a good look at the photos.
