RARE ORIGINAL World War Two Marine - Navy Corpsman Uniform Lot / Grouping. These items came direct from the veteran's estate when he passed away a few years ago. The name will be given to the high bidder. He served in WW2 on Iwo Jima and again in Korea. In this lot are four of his items. They include his USMC HBT / Herringbone Twill shirt, Navy Top, additional rank patch, and a Japanese canteen he picked up on Iwo Jima ( His initials and Iwo 1945 are carved into the canteen). The HBT has a Marine EGA stencil on the pocket, and signs of wear. One of the buttons has been replaced. Also, someone (possibly the veteran) later "refilled" his corpsman rank stencil with a marker (see photos). The HBT shirt measures to a size 44 inch chest, although the navy top is smaller. The Navy top has a rank, and a 5th Marine Division wool patch. The Japanese canteen also has a Japanese quartermaster stamp. See photos. Really great items for research and adding to a grouping. Once more, the name will be provided to the high bidder as well as a copy of his obituary. His records can also be found on . Great for adding to a collection or display. Guaranteed 100% Original.
