This auction is for an Original WWII German Bakelite Canteen Dated 1943 with canvas straps in untouched condition. This is a very nice canteen, we found it on a buying trip to Germany. It is in untouched condition just like it came home after WWII. The canvas strap is a little dry and used but is still nice, but it does have one problem at the top w it attaches to the lid it is real fragile see pic, but still a very nice item. This is a very nice canteen, and it would make a great addition to your WWII collection, so take a look at the pictures and bid away, you can't go to wal-mart and get one of these. I have put a moderate starting price to protect my investment. Buyer pays shipping charges, and to all foreign bidders any item that sells for over $50, we will only ship the item Express Mail with a tracking number. I'm sorry to have to do this, but we have had problems with people saying they didn't get t items and we have no way to prove we sent it, so we have been forced to use this new standard. I must recieve payment within 10 days of end of auction. Also if you do not intend to pay for this item please do not bid, all bids from people with questionable feedback will be canceled!!
