A nice original NO RESERVE auction of a beautiful early to mid war company grade Japanese Army Parade Dress Sword in overall excellent condition. This is nicer and cleaner than most you see on Ebay with rust and damage. Rate it a 9 on a scale of 10. I have a sword knot for this sword separately listed. 1 Ring (Suspension Mount) Army Scabbard Handle wire and leather washer nicely intact. Stainless plated steel blade Original wartime clean polish with no plate loss! WW2 WWII Showa era Signed : No Dated : No Total length : 36" Total blade length: 31âe Cutting edge : 29 3/4" Scabbard length: 32 1/4" Width near handle: 3/4" Blade condition : Very nice in original clean plating with false temperline. No crack/hagire, no bend, one small chip at top of handle, very minor very light surface scuffs/scratches & t, otherwise nothing major & nothing further at all, a very strong clean production blade ! With good standard fittings please see closeup pictures of handle Nice metal scabbard + 1 ring (with minor dings and little rust). Scabbard fit perfect nice and tight.
