Offered for sale in this auction is an original M41 field jacket, size 38R. The body is a medium OD green canvas and the lining a green wool. The jacket was made by Jacob Finkelstein and Sons under a 1942 contract, according to the intact tag on the inside of the right outer pocket.The jacket has a variety of marks and wear, including white paint spots in various places, some staining to the left shoulder, and some minor moth holes on the lining. Most interestingly, it features a variety of patches of checked cloth on the interior and several other repairs, including a neat blanket stitch on the right cuff. Structurally, this jacket is in very good condition with no significant rips or tears.A great piece for your collection, and an increasingly rare WWII uniform. Thanks for looking!
