Here is a nice original WWII UTICA CUTLERY M1 10" bayonet with its original M7 scabbard. The bayonet is most likely an arsenal or Greek refinish like most of these you see, but its hard to say for certain since these are sometimes hard to tell. It has no visible pitting underneath the finish. The parkerizing is mostly intact with a few very small spots of wear on the guard and near the blade tip. The edge appears to be the factory one that has not been sharpened in the field. The black plactic grips are both marked NOR LOC and both are crack free with a few light marks. The one side has some light deforming/ wear of the grooves, most likely from a solvent, and the other side has a light scratch, which is not a crack across the grip screw hole. The button and catch mechanism works and the grip screw head has hardly any marring. The scabbard is in excellent condition with nearly all of its original paint remaining and a few light marks. The one edge has what looks like a small factory defect along its edge. The guard is tight. The bayonet measures 14 1/2" overall with a 9 7/8" blade. -No Reserve- -The knife not be put back in its scabbard, so there will be no additional scratches to the blade.-
