Up for bids is a WWII Western Knife. I have not seen one like this since I started collecting. Unlike a Fighting/Utility knife this knife has a long, thin blade. At the base of the blade it reads "Western, Boulder Colo. Pat. No. 1,967,473." This knife is in good condition for its age. T are some very slight traces of rust w the handle meets the blade. This knife has a blood groove and the typical Western type handle with the two red stripes surrounded by black stripes. If you have any questions or would like better pics (My camera isn't the greatest and I can't get a readable pic of the manufacturer's engraving) please feel free to contact me.Check out my other auctions for more edged weapons and Military items as I have a bunch on currently.Good luck and happy bidding! New information about this knife: It is an L77 and was used by the USMC raiders during the early days of WWII.
