ORIGINAL YALE LIBRARY CARD CATALOG What we have up for auction is a Gaylord Bros. Vintage Card Catalog from Yale's Sterling Memorial Library . The card catalog has 84 wooden drawers. All drawers are original and functional. All pull handles are original. T are 3 pull out tables on the front/middle of the card catalog for easy access to the cards ... just pull out a table, pull out a drawer and set it on the table on you are set to go. Card catalog has minor scratches and scuffing, consistent with normal library use and moving, but is otherwise in fine condition. Drawer Inside Dimensions: Height: 3.75", Width: 5", Depth: 16.5" Catalog Dimensions: Height: 73", Width: 41", Depth: 19", Weight: approximately 350 lbs. Though it is an older piece of furniture, this antique library card catalog still holds its own as a very striking piece of history . It's large frame, made from white oak, is beautifully crafted with care and it shows. The card catalog was specially built for use in Yale University 's Sterling Memorial Library in 1930.
