Orion-15 wideangle 6/28mm lens in Leica M39 screw mount – excellent & highly collectible You are bidding on a Russian Orion-15 wide angle 6/28mm lens in Leica M39 screw mount in excellent used condition and fully working order. This is quite a famous lens based on the Carl Zeiss Topogon for Contax rangefinders. It works perfectly with any M39 rangefinder cameras (Leica, Reid, Zorki, FED, Voightlander Bessa, etc.) or, with appropriate adapters, with Leica-M and Micro 4/3 cameras (Panasonic Lumix, Olympus). Very small and light, Orion-15 is popular among architectural and landscape photographers. Glass is clean and clear with no scratches, haze, dust or fungus . Aperture blades are clean, and aperture action is smooth. In very good cosmetic condition for its age with very minor signs of use (see pictures). Complete with front and rear caps and original bakelite keeper . Please note that the lens is coated. An extremely scarce (rarely seen offered for sale) and easily adabtable to Leica-M and Micro 4/3 lens which delivers excellent results at a very low cost compared to M-mount lenses. Very hard to find in this excellent condition. Please note that the camera in the pictures is for illustration purposes only and is not included in the auction. Payment is to be made by Paypal only, for other arrangements please contact before bidding.
