This auction is for an unusual antique micro mosaic tiles brooch featuring a woman standing in an apron and long dress with her hand resting on something-not sure what though. The setting is ornate dark silver metal filigree with tiny flowers for accent. Entire pin measures about 1 3/4" by not quite 1 1/2" across. Although unmarked, this is a very old item. Item is in good condition for its age, uncommon design, tiny tiles and very detailed (can't tell if there are any missing or that's just the way they were set?-these are micro mosaic) ornate setting, clasp in working order. As shown, it does have a very fine crack that runs diagonally through the black part from the left corner to the bottom. As shown, on the back, there is what looks like a chip/flake? or crack but I didn't notice it going through to the front side though. The metal has patina as seen in the picture.
