Intricately engraved late Victorian sterling silver cane top. Marked on base: JACOBI & JENKINS STERLING BALTIMORE 925/1000 FINE. Made by Jacobi and Jenkins, Baltimore, Maryland. According to Rainwater's silver reference book, this partnership's mark was used only from 1894 to 1908. Monogrammed on top with three conjoined initials. Three inches in length. Diameter at opening approx 7/8 inch. Ornate floral repousse engraving with pinprick background. Weighs just over 1 oz. Good condition - no signs of abuse, damge or repair.
